Meet Our Pastor

Our pastor and his wife, Duane and Denise Smith, have been with us since December 2019 and have pastored churches in Illinois, Arkansas, and Montana, where he spearheaded a church plant.  Duane and Denise were married on March 24, 1984, and have one daughter, Stephanie, who is finishing up her Ph. D. from Baylor University. They also have a small and hilarious mixed breed terrier named Benny, who keeps things lively around the house.  Duane loves hunt, fish and go to the firing range while Denise finds time to read and has begun quilting.

Pastor Duane has earned a Bachelor of Applied Science in Bible from Bethany Bible College, Master of Ministry from Bethany Theological Seminary, Doctorate of Practical Theology in Biblical Counseling from Master’s Graduate School of Divinity and is a certified biblical counselor with the International Association of Biblical Counselors. He has a passion to preach the word of God, minister to families and present the gospel of Christ to all who will listen.
